Want to Buy a Car?

(This promotion is now closed)

When people first move to Lanzarote they often get a car on a long term lease from one of the many reputable car hire companies on the Island to tide them over until they purchase one of their own. In fact, we know of some people here who have been using hire cars since they arrived a number of years ago. The pricing for this obviously varies from company to company, and from car to car. But a Corsa for example would usually knock you back by about €400 per month. So wouldn’t it be great if you could do that, but keep the car at the end?

Regular readers amongst you will know that we are huge fans of Solbank. We are very well looked after by these guys, and do not hesitate to recommend them. Well, they’ve come up trumps yet again.

They have an offer at the moment, which means that for €300 per month you can get a new Opel Corsa. After 4 years – you either keep it… or continue payments and get a brnad new one! Here are the details – but be quick. This offer only lasts until 30 June 2008.

“For just €300 per month (1) everything is included:
1. The purchase of the vehicle, delivery & collection.
2. Maintenance (periodic services)
3. Possible repairs or incidents
4. Registration and road tax
5. Comprehensive insurance without any deductibles, including all family members with a drivers’ license

For more information, visit www.solbank.com or call +34 902 26 12 71. They’ll let you know all about the usual Ts & Cs. Alternatively, pop into Playa Blanca SolBank and chat to Rafael or Alberto (tell them we said hi!)

We’ve not taken up the offer ourselves, because we bought a car within a couple of months of arriving – but had this offer been going at the time – we would certainly have been very interested.

(We have not received, nor will ever receive, any financial reward for bringing this to your attention. We simply get a “Thank you.”)
