You are more than welcome Alf!

Yes... just drop me a line to info@lanzaroterelocation.co.uk nearer the time and we'll organise a natter over a glass of something suitably tasty and refreshing.

Hi there Elle, thanks for the kind words and rapid response, it's nice to know there are some nice people out there without an ulterior motive, and yes we would be love to meet up for a natter probably late September early October.

Hey there Alf. Glad that you've turned a corner with your cancer.

The good news is that Spain's healthcare is excellent when it comes to curative medicine - so no problems there. However... I do know that a friend had to go to Gran Canaria for certain parts of his treatment - all travel expenses and accommodation for him was paid by the state. Hope that helps?

Help For Heroes went really well - and they raised lots of money, which is fantastic!

If you fancy meeting up for a natter (and no, we're not trying to sell you anything) when you're over in September... then give us a shout. I can't do between 15th and 22nd of September - but apart from that am around.

Hola everybody. My Wife & I will be coming to Lanzarote hopefully in September for a long overdue holiday (not had one for over 4 years ) with a view to permanent relocation. One thing I'm finding hard to track down is information about cancer care ie.follow up check ups following surgery.I was successfully (hooray ) treated last year for Testicular cancer and am now at the stage of just needing follow up appointments plus occasional Blood tests, X-rays and CT scans.Obviously I could always pop back to the UK every 3-6 months but it would be much more convenient and probably a lot cheaper to keep it in the Canaries.Any information would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Best Wishes

Alf.

Great site by the way and how did the the Help For Heroes event go?
