As many of you will know, we have a core group of people in Lanzarote that we happily recommend because we trust the way that they do business. Two such people are Mike and Julie Cliffe-Jones that own the Lanzarote Estate Agent company, Estupendo.

Mike and Julie are hosting a series of seminars in the spring of next year - and so we have included their invitation on this site. For anyone relocating to Lanzarote… these seminars are guaranteed to be extremely useful. Read on for more information.

The Seminar!

We’re delighted to announce a series of seminars across the UK next spring entitled

Living in Lanzarote

Come and join us in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow to find out from the experts all about moving to, investing in and living on the island.

In an action packed half day, heres what will happen:

Estupendo director Mike will give you a one hour presentation about the island and life here, covering residencia, NIF numbers, children and schooling, bringing pets to the island, importing your belongings, buying or importing cars, renting or buying properties, getting work, buying or starting a business, health cover and pensions and all aspects of Lanzarote lifestyle. The presentation will be interactive, informative and amusing, with some wonderful photographs depicting each subject

Every couple attending will then have a ten minute ‘one to one’ with either Mike or co-director Julie, to give you a chance to ask questions relevant to your particular needs

Representatives from Estupendo’s recommended partners will be there as well, including Solbank, part of Banco Sabadell, one of Spains largest banks and the only one dedicated to dealing with ex pat clients. You’ll be able to meet them, discuss mortgages and even open an account with them on the day. Also at the event you’ll be able to meet the team from T C Freight, our recommended transport company for shipping your belongings to Lanzarote, and who have been shipping to the island for 20 years. And finally, our Foremost Currency Group, who have looked after currency transfer for Estupendo clients for many years, will also be on hand to open accounts and discuss your needs.

There will be tables of resources for you, with property details, Lanzarote magazines, relocation packs, buyers guides and lists of important contacts

Youll be encouraged to swap contact details with other delegates, and this will put you in touch with other people from your area who also planning to move to or invest in Lanzarote - a great opportunity to set up your own network of friends prior to your big move

If you are considering moving to the island, or buying a property in Lanzarote, want to know more about your options or just want to meet Julie and Mike, put your name down now, as we have limited numbers at each venue, to allow time for the one to one sessions.

The price is 25 per person (note Euros not Pounds!). Each morning session will run from 1000 until 1300 and each afternoon session from 1400 until 1700. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
