Transylvania Restaurant
During our time in Lanzarote, we have been out to a number of bars and restaurants in Playa Blanca. Most recently, however, we have discovered a real gem. Transylvania, in CC La Mulata is probably our new favourite. Opened in 2007, the staff treat you extremely well - and the dishes are a nice change from the usual steak and fish. We’ve been twice now, and have been impressed both times. The meals are hearty, and full of flavour. Of special note is the home-made pate… which comes either with toast, or as part of the stuffed eggs as a starter. It’s extremely creamy, and very more-ish.
For a main course… try the mititei… which are spicy sausages made from goat, pork and veal. They are very much like Greek sausages. Grab a seat on their balcony, and watch the boats go by, or look across to the twinkling lights of Corralejo, Fuerteventura
We paid €110 for 4 adults. We all had starters and main courses. 2 had desserts. And we also all had 2 drinks each. Go easy on the wine though… the glasses are huge!
