Tahiche school is getting a new dining room
Contracts were signed today for the addition of a dining room to be built at Tahiche School. This has been the first step for the construction of the building that it will commence to support the 132 pupils of the educational center.
The work, will have to be finished in time for the next school year, as it has a timescale of nine months. The dining room will have a surface area of 355 square meters, and will be provided with a lounge, kitchen, wash-basins and two storage areas for gas cylinders.
The investment destined for this service is municipal, although the writing and supervision of the project falls to the Cabildo of Lanzarote. The Council presided over by José Dimas Martín has dedicated €427k to the project.
