Resident Discounts in Lanzarote
There are many ways to save money in Lanzarote – and many of these are for residents only. By EU law, Spain cannot force you to register as a resident… however there are plenty of encouragements and incentives to do so. Here are just some of the discounts available to those who have Residencia in Lanzarote.
Travel
A number of airlines and ferry companies offer discounts to Canary Islands Residents. Binter, Spanair and Fred Olsen to name just a few

Eating & Drinking in Lanzarote
Canary Nightlife – our forum offers a number of vouchers for discounted food and drink to all of its members!
Many bars operate a loyalty scheme to their regular drinkers. If they know that you live here, and are likely to become a regular customer, you may be offered discounts – this does not automatically entitle you to it however – remember these guys are trying to make a living!
In short, if you’re not sure… then just ask! What’s the worst that can happen?
