Furniture shops in Playa Blanca

The new Ganigo shop opened in Playa Blanca this week, and as such, has opened up options for residents in the town.  You can’t miss it - it’s the one with the gaudy yellow signage on the roundabout with the thermometer, as you enter the town. Best place to park is on the waste ground right opposite, next to the new bus station.

Also - in the industrial zone on the old road to Yaiza, there is Zentrum, with home furnishings, and garden decor. It recently changed hands, and certainly seems to be popular. Just a couple of rows behind that, and slightly to the right is another warehousey type place. In here you will find lots of decorative furnishings, such as African wooden statues, cupbaords and tables. A bit pricey - but VERY nice and stylish!

Of course Ferrocur and FT (both hardware stores, with a wide selection of household goods) ar still doing a good trade - and you can always pop up to the cafeteria in FT for a bite to eat too. Bocadillos for about €1.50.

Happy shopping!
