Lanzarote Relocation

Unlike other countries within the EU, contraception is not free in Lanzarote. Contraceptive pills are available by prescription only. A prescription can be issued by a gynaecologist (ginecologo), or by your doctor. These pills can bought at a pharmacy/chemist.

The morning-after pill is used frequently in Spain and can be obtained from your doctor or a gynaecologist. Showing your medical card will mean the price is greatly reduced. It is not available freely over the counter at a Farmacia.
