Lanzarote Relocation

The Christmas market is to be held again this year from 5th to 8th December in Puerto del Carmen.  Please contact Victor Fleming on 928 511068 with as many home-made contributions as possible eg: jams, pickles, cakes, mince pies, breads, and different types of Christmas decorations. Please also contact Roger Forder on 928 513480 if you can help to man the stall for 2 hours any day  between 4 & 8pm.

Christmas notelets, handmade by Jane Wardle, are available for sale at each service at the back of church.

Christmas Quiz.  5 euros a sheet, in aid of church funds.  Available at back of church.  Please post in box at back of church.   Draw on 20th December.

Mothers’ Union.  December  8th 2pm: at the chaplaincy:  continuing the theme “Time for Relationships”, Father Idris will speak on “Freedom in Relationships”

January 12th:  Open meeting when all visitors are invited to join the Mothers’ Union annual fish and chips lunch.  Please contact Frieda Burke on 928 524347

The Bishop’s 2008 Advent Appeal is twofold.  Firstly,  4 hostels for boys and girls run by the Diocese of Rajasthan in North India. Secondly, a project to help widows, without anyone to care for them, to become self-sufficient in the Diocese of Karimnagar in South India.  We are asked to respond generously to this appeal which will make a real difference to lives.
