Lanzarote Relocation

Some time ago we wrote about the work that Niños del Tercer Mundo are doing. Well… here is their next event if you would like to get involved.

The Niños del Tercer Mundo are  having a summer BBQ on May 1st to raise money for a school where children just have concrete blocks and a plank of wood for desks, if you have a look in the Lanzarote Gazette for April it shows you a picture of the classroom, if you can call it that.

Tickets are just 10€  and this includes BBQ,  tea and coffee

The time is from 12 noon  – 5pm and its being  held at a beautiful venue in La Asomada.

There will be Live Music, Bookstall, Bring & Buy, Tombola, Beer and Wine tent, and an Auction.

If you have any tins of food,  bottles of wine, books, or small items for the Bring and Buy that you can spare, please drop them down to Sue Thain at the Iberostar hotel, any large items please ring Jackie on 676509443.

They really need volunteers to help assist on the different stalls in  the day, if you feel you can help, please ring Jackie on the above number.
