Buses in Lanzarote

Getting around the Island is very easy now with the excellent bus service available. The buses are generally clean, comfortable, and air conditioned. So travel is comfortable – and no standing like sardines!

Recently (October 2008) Playa Blanca became the first municipality on the Island to receive a dedicated bus service to transport passengers around the town, as opposed to services merely passing through. Gladys Acuña, the mayoress, inaugurated the event, and the residents of Playa Blanca are very pleased to have the town opened up so widely with this new bus route.

Below is a link to the official Arrecife Bus website, where you will find timetables for all over the island.
