Ash Compensation Email is Fake!

For those of you that have been travelling to and from Lanzarote… and for your friends and family too – please be aware that there is a new scam email doing the rounds.

In it – “they” claim to be writing from the Civil Aviation Authority, and that affected travellers can receive £2000 back in compensation if you pay an administrative fee.

The CAA have stated categorically that this is nothing to do with them, and they have asked the police to investigate.
