So you want to apply for your residencia yourself eh? We’d still recommend that you use the services of an expert, just to be sure… but if you’re determined to go it alone, then you’ll find the following very useful.

We suggest that you double check the form had not been updated before you queue for hours to get it processed, but it will at least give you an idea of the kind of information required. It is always better to be prepared.

*Please note. We are being told that they can no longer accept downloaded Residencia Forms, and only the ones they will hand to you themselves. So the downloadable form is only for you to practise on. The form they hand out at the police station in Arrecife is slightly different to the one online – despite it having the same serial number.
